Two of my favorites, both A+ films:
Little Miss Sunshine -- it's The Royal Tenenbaums meets Vacation!
Fargo -- quite possibly the strangest murder mystery film out there.

STAR WARS: EPISODE III - REVENGE OF THE SITH (2005)
Easily the best of the Star Wars prequels. Read my review for more in-depth coverage.
9/10
THE PRODUCERS (2005)
Not as good as the Broadway show it's based on, but amusing nonetheless. Nathan Lane is great, but I did think that Matthew Broderick overacted quite a bit. That's fine for the stage where you need to project to people sitting in the back rows, but on film where the camera is right in your face, it's not really necessary to constantly bug-out your eyes and whatnot. The songs are hysterical though.
7/10

We Are Marshall- It was the last film I saw in 2006. Good acting can't overrun this cliche football flick. C+.

My Super Ex-Girlfriend -- better than expected, but still not really spectacular spectacular though with plenty of moments. I'd give it a . . . oh I can't decide between C+ or B-.

Ultraviolet (2006)
HD Video - 9/10 HD Audio Dolby Digital - 8/10 HD Audio LPCM - 10/10
Crap film, but looks pretty good on Blu-Ray & sounds really good with the uncompressed PCM sound. The video is intentionally tweaked simular to Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow. I figured out how they do this technique cause my Panny upconversion dvd player can do the same to every dvd. Mpeg Noise Reduction. Basically elimates any noise in the picture while also making actors faces look pale or like a wax sculpture hiding natural detail.

Watched Thursday: My Super Ex-Girlfriend 2/4- I actually like this one a lot better than I thought I would. The performances by Uma, Luke Wilson & Eddie Izzard were great (IMO).
