Must Love Dogs
What I DID like:
-John Cusack -Diane Lane -Its charm; it's a very likeable movie. -It was one of the funnier romantic comedies I've seen in a while.
What I DIDN'T like:
-It was very formulaic.

The Dukes of Hazzard
I caved. My primitive masculine urges just HAD to see Jessica Simpson strip down to her bikini.
What I DID like: -Everyone seemed to have a good time making it. -The chase scenes looked great. Made the Fast and the Furious look like the Slow and the Timid. -Jessica Simpson strips down to her bikini. -NICE soundtrack. -If you like Broken Lizard, you'll like this movie. -Willie Nelson... awesome.
What I DIDN'T like:
-If you DON'T like Broken Lizard, you won't like this movie. -Much like Bewitched, the running time is too long for a movie like this. -I felt dumber walking out of the movie.

The Skeleton Key
What I DID like:
-The setting -- an already creepy atmosphere. -The use and mythology of black magic was very good. -The actors did a fine job. -Another horror movie that chooses NOT to do the Fight Club ending. Thank God. -Unlike Dark Water, this actually WAS scary.
What I DIDN'T like: -Not enough Peter Sarsgaard -The ending, while not the Fight Club ending, was still pretty stupid and drags the movie down. Think about a movie that's good, intense, and thrilling until the "surprise" is revealed and then the movie just crashes and burns. -The soundtrack bothered me. Way to ruin an atmosphere.

Four Brothers
What I DID like:
-The performances for the most part -Some nice dramatic scenes
What I DIDN'T like:
-The plot: Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, anyone? -The climactic (or rather, anti-climactic) fight scene at the end was really clichéd and dumb -The bad guy was a terrible actor. The audience was laughing at him. -While some scenes are dramatic, other scenes are just laughable. -The overall feeling that it should have been better.

What about Jessica Simpson without bikini If THAT were in the movie, I'd pay to see it. Maybe twice. Well, you've inspired me to search her pics. I've got some interesting ones. If you want I may send them to you. But I think probably you've got them already

Red Eye
What I DID like:
-Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams played off each other very well. -It's not necessarily a horror flick, but it does keep you in suspense. -It's got tons of brawn, yet manages to keep your IQ intact. -Wes Craven is back! No, really!
What I DIDN'T like: -Seemed a little short.
On a side note, this was Wes Craven's best suspense/thriller since Scream. Cursed had me worrying about the guy, but Red Eye laid my worries to rest.

Hey, I thought you weren't working at the movie theater anymore. If you're not, you seem to be seeing just as many movies as you used to. I haven't been to a movie since WAR OF THE WORLDS premiered.

My best friend still works there, so he's been hooking me up... Not to mention everyone there knows me, and they let me walk right in. ;D

Ah, well there ya go. I was wondering if you were actually paying to see all these flicks. Can't say I blame ya. I'd be seeing everything if it was free too.

Actually, the movies I'm only mildly interested in have taken a hit. I haven't made any efforts to see Sky High for instance, but I was interested in it simply for Bruce Campbell.
I also haven't yet seen the Great Raid. I'm spending more time getting to know the classics. Just last week I watched Sunset Blvd. (my new favorite movie btw), JFK, Psycho (Great theater nearby that shows classic movies), and Laura. I got those classics in one hand and the Dukes of Hazzard in the other... which do YOU think I'd pick?

You may be catching up on some older movies, but come on, you still did go see DUKES OF HAZZARD too. Best of both worlds, huh?
