Hostel- Not as gory as it should've been but still great horror. So...either you like A LOT of gore or it's not as gory as it's been made out to be? Anyway, have this one on the rental list, been anxious to see it. Watched this weekend: Pirates of the Caribbean 3/4- Don't know why I waited so long to see this one... Dead Alive wasn't gor enough for me.

"Love Actually"--all right, it's a little out of season, but it's a perfectly enjoyable (and funny) British romantic comedy. Except that it incorporates The Big Applause. Which was my only real beef with it. B+.

I caught most of Watchers 3 on Sci-Fi. Slighty better than the first movie, but still super crappy. But let me get this straight, if I may, suddenly, you're a moderator for the Review Hell, and then you cease putting reviews up there? HHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM.......?Well, to answer that question: besides you, Bart, and maybe Frank, who's gonna reply to those? Wasted threads putting those up. Only major, major movies I make a thread for. Besides, look at how many I've done lately. I've gone from about 175 to over 230 reviews at IMDb during the month and a half I've been moderator. Granted, some of them probably could've been threads there, but no need to gratuituously fill it full of stuff just because I suddenly have the power. Besides, it's more fun watching you guys put some great reviews up in there without me. I'll put a couple up as threads every now and then, but I won't gratuitously do. With that in mind- The Mummy's Hand-The beginning of all the mummy film cliches right here. imdb.com/title/tt0032818/usercomments-28

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Or should I call it, Final Fantasy VII Reloaded?
This had a lot to live up to, being the follow-up to the single greatest tale in the history of video games (yes, even better than Halo). Sadly, it does NOT live up to its predecessor. How could it? Last time around, Square had three discs filled with hours upon hours of gameplay to work with. This time, they only had an hour and a half.
But it was fucking awesome! The animation was brilliant, the story checked out with the original, the action scenes were well-made, and overall, it was just fun to watch. My one complaint would be that it's pretty damn short. If Silent Hill can stretch out for 2 hours, why can't Final Fantasy VII?
This film is best viewed with Japanese audio and English subtitles. FUCK dubbing.

Not even if you watch the featurette that reviews the video game (and hardly does it any justice).

I'm glad you mentioned this. At MovieStop they were playing it (from the beginning) and while the visuals were stunning I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on.

The Last Drop 0/4- My god...this was horrible. And Michael wasn't even in it enough to make it worthwhile.
