This is totally crazy, Term! With YOUR COLLECTION?!! I'd rather die than sell all this out!!!!!
Anyway, I saw Hitchcock's The Birds again. A fine movie, of course, but does anyone else also think Jessica Tandy was no good as the mother there?

I don't expect sales to reach half of my entire collection (1517). Who knows.
Watched a bit of Pirates of the Caribbean last night.

King of New York 2/4-Nice. Walken was fantastic as always....but it was a little too 80's w/ the music, costumes, etc... Good movie though.

United 93
This is one moving piece of cinema. What didn't work for Greengrass in the Bourne Supremacy works here very well. It was a very honest picture, made simply to tell the passengers' extraordinary story. I'm sure some of it was Perfect Stormed, but the film means that much more when a filmmaker actually cares about the event. And you can tell, Paul Greengrass cared about the event.
Full review coming soon.

Take the Lead (2006)
A good dance movie, falls short of greatness because it's basically Stand and Deliver with ballroom dancing. Still, good performances, good writing, and a fresh mix of the old-fashioned courteous European culture and the hip hop culture, which comes across well both literally and symbolically. It's not one of the year's best, but it still comes recommended.

Silent Hill
It looks better than it has any right to look. This mediocre film would have been better in the more capable hands of say, David Lynch. It suffers from bad screenwriting and an infuriating ending.

Cronicas(Chronicles) 2/4- Pretty good. John Leguizamo plays a tv reporter tracking a serial killer in Ecuador.
