Eye candy. Thats about it.
Training Day 3/4 stars
Good perfomance by Denzel as usual. Had to get an Oscar sometime right? Really liked the dark feel to this picture, almost Se7en"ish"
Good Will Hunting 4 stars
Got a new dvd player & this title serves as my reference, hence I had to watch this awesome flick again.

Didn't know that. He won Best Supporting Actor for that film. I was thinking if he'd ever won Best Actor when I typed "Had to get an Oscar sometime right?". Thanks for the clarification.

"Kolchak: The Night Stalker" - pilot. Still good, but the Vampire is dull and the ending is surprisingly cold blooded.
"Kolchak: The Night Strangler" - The 2nd TV movie (extended version). I actually like this more. More humour, more to the story, a better villian and better support characters. Some nice atmospheric sets as well for 'Old Seattle'.

THE EXORCIST--one of the two movies of all-time that remains scary each time you watch it. The other being Kubrick's The Shining.
RADIOHEAD: BBC CONCERT--amazing, amazing band with an amazing, amazing live show (I think this was recorded for TV in England).

Killer Tomatoes Strike Back- A laugh-a-palooza.
The Frightners- Another laugh-a-palooza.
It Lives Again- Good sequel to the okay original.
Wrongfully Accused- Once again, a laugh-a-palooza.

"Female Yakuza Tale" the sequel to "Sex and Fury" that does not reach the heights of the original and is a far more comedic exercise in psychedelic sleaziness. But it has some great moments, a totally wild, violent, blood (and piss) drenched finale and bullets up the nose!

Shrek 2 yesterday. Ya know, since I've been home sick the last two days I've realized there's absolutely NOTHING on worth watching on satellite during the daytime...

Yesterday, I watched three movies:
My Own Private Idaho (1991) - You know, half the time I couldn't figure out what was going on... but River Phoenix gave a great performance. And I just found out it's a modern version of Shakespeare's Henry IV, which would explain all the poetry and spontaneous monologue on the part of Keanu Reeves... Good movie, though.
Waiting... (2005) - Consider it the Mallrats of this decade, because it's destined to become a cult classic. And it's funny as Hell.
The Graduate (1967) - This doubles as a movie police entry. Saw this for the first time yesterday. A historically important film, and an entertaining one to boot.

The Dark Backward- Disturbing and hilarious. Great performances from Judd Nelson, Bill Paxton, and Lara Flynn Boyle.
