Last night: The Boondock Saints 2/4- Considering all the talk I'd heard about it , I thought it would be better, still liked it though.
Cry Wolf(on HBO) 1/4- Typical...

Navy SEALs- It was a fun action movie. ***.
3:10 to Yuma- I'm still puzzled ast to how Glenn Ford did not get nominated and win for his amazing performance in this classic film. ****.
Kind Hearts and Coronets- It's funny, clever, ingenious, and has great performances. What more could I want? ****.
The Lost Weekend- A haunting performance from Ray Milland makes this movie. ****.

I can only think of CLERKS whenever I hear the title NAVY SEALS. ;D Milland is brilliant in THE LOST WEEKEND. Haven't seen that one in a long time. Just watched for the first time last night: IN THE BEDROOM (2001) Downbeat & powerful. Tom Wilkinson deserves any and all accolades he received. Even though it ended pretty much how I anticipated, it was more about the ride than the destination. 8.5/10

Anatomy of a Murder- A good courtroom drama, although it was a bit overlong. ***.

Beauty and the Beast - This time a REAL DVD. Much more enjoyable. Still a cherished classic.
Note to anyone who purchases a Disney movie on eBay: If you're paying anything less than $30, it's probably fake.

Nosferatu- The best Dracula film I've seen, however I've yet to see the Browning version. ****.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off--pretty funny, pretty entertaining, falls under a few John Hughes cliches but it's my favorite of his works. B.

The Prestige - A very well-made film with some great acting. Not one of my favorite Nolan films, but it's still worth it. B+
Flags of Our Fathers - One of the year's best films. A very powerful, moving picture bringing to light a little known story behind a well-known picture. A+

Nosferatu- The best Dracula film I've seen, however I've yet to see the Browning version. ****. I think it's better than the lovely-but-patchy Browning version. Much more coherent and scary. Saw: Spike Lee's Inside Man. Fun and a great turn from Denzel (yet again...), but I wasn't sure about the overlong ending. 6/10
