Saw 2 2/4- I've seen better and worse...I thought it would be horrible considering what's been said about it around here.

I have just changed the title of this thread to "Just Watched Movies" as opposed to the old title, "Just Watched". There will be a separate "Just Watched" thread in the new "Where's the Remote?" section focusing on, you guessed it, tv shows. Please keep this thread strictly film-related, whether you "just watched" it at a movie theater, home video, or broadcast television. Also, please read the "stickied" thread at the top of the Off The Chest section regarding the new "Where's the Remote?" section.

The Battle of Shaker Heights--the problem with Project Greenlight was that to make good TV the producers had to secretly sabatoge the film. Or maybe it was just bad. Mediocre, predictable, everything we've seen before delivered in no new way. It's an improvement over the other one -- as far as I can recall it but it still smells like rotten sulfur. C-.

Hey Term,
Just wondering, but how come you only post your ratings of the audio & video quality, but never of the actual film itself? I'd be interested in knowing what you thought of the movies too.

I've decided to start using star ratings to help explain how I felt about a film. The ratings will range from * to ****.
A Woman Under the Influence- The most realistic film I've ever seen. ****.

The Prestige--just like any Christopher Nolan movie, the beginning's a bit shakey but the ending leaves your mouth hanging open. B+.
