I really enjoyed the "Heroes" pilot as well. Have actually been watching more tv and tv on dvd than movies lately. Also enjoyed the pilot episode of "Jericho" and the first two episodes of "Smith" starring Ray Liotta & Virginia Madsen.

Autumn Sonata- Excellent performances but it drags a bit in the middle.

School for Scoundrels - Todd Phillips has some really good comedic timing. Both Billy Bob and Napoleon Dynamite were hilarious. Still, not as good as Old School. B

Jackass: Number Two- Balances out with the first one. The first one had more of Pontius and a great ending. The second one had harder laughs but almost no Pontius and a bad ending.

Lost Season One Disc Six--my eyes hurt. My brain feels rotted. But it's a wonderful show. Overall, I'd give this first season a B+.

Fearless - starring Jet Li.
Run-of-the-mill martial arts Li flick. I enjoyed it immensely although I only suggest it to fans of this genre. Also to note that it is only very loosely based on a real person from Chinese history.
7/10

and the first two episodes of "Smith" starring Ray Liotta & Virginia Madsen. I've also been watching this one too, along w/ Shark, the new one w/ James Woods. Really like both of them! Masters of Horror: Sick Girl 1/4- my least favorite of the series so far...

The Kid (1921) - A strong Chaplin comedy that manages to be a bit of a tear jerker. I loved it. A+
Beauty and the Beast - One of Disney's greatest achievements. Still holds the same power today it did 15 years ago. Yeah, it's been that long. Yeah, it's trippin' me out too. I mean, I remember begging my parents to take me to see this at the wee age of six. Can't believe it's been that long. A+

Gridiron Gang 3/4- Wow....Didn't think it would be THAT good, I was impressed. VERY impressed w/ Rock's performance. Me too. I seriously thought that guy would only be successful in action movies. But he was pretty damn good in Gridiron Gang.

September- Good movie but sometimjes is too cliche.
Yojimbo- Kurosawa's best.
Lord of War- Aside from the fake credits sequence, it's excellent.

Lost Season Two Discs One Two Three and Four--there's this whole change in the mood and the tone and they introduced a character I don't like at all (she's not even the I-love-that-I-don't-like-them kinda thing like Sawyer) but the intensity is more thorough throughout so far. Two more discs to go.
