THE OFFICE: Season 1
Only six episodes in this first season, but OMG, so many laugh out loud moments! I don't think I've seen a lead character in a sitcom say so many inappropriate things since Larry David in CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM. Steve Carrell rules! The kind of straightfaced, deadpan humor that made THIS IS SPINAL TAP a comedy classic.
A+

Jackass: Number Two - The most disgusting, degenerate thing I have ever seen. I may have lost brain cells watching this movie. It is sick and disturbing... and I loved ever single minute of it! I know. I know I shouldn't. But how can I condemn something that made me laugh 'til it hurts? How? B

Season One Disc Two of Lost--pretty much what I said for disc one applies here. But I do like Charlie, Locke, Hurley, and the girl who played Emily in "Brick".

Sunset Blvd. - Classic film noir, one of my all-time favorites. Alright, Mr. DeMille... I'm ready for my close-up. A+

Reds- Warren Beatty is like the Orson Welles of today: a hit and a flop, big and little films. This was a hit and big one.

"Heroes", Episode 1 - Anyone else watching this? This looks like it's going to be a really good show.

"Heroes", Episode 1 - Anyone else watching this? This looks like it's going to be a really good show. I enjoyed it. Hope it doesn't get too bogged down with the "mystery" of it all. I want to see the heroes be heroes!

I'd give the Heroes pilot 5/10 but it has potential to go somwhere.

This Film Is Not Yet Rated - Dick Kirby rips the MPAA ratings board a new one... Hopefully their new one doesn't get as full of shit as their old one is. Very entertaining, very insightful, and hopefully will bring about great change in the industry (although realistically speaking, it probably won't). A+

Season One Discs Three and Four of Lost--it took a little bit, but once the show started getting really engrossing...it got really engrossing. Intense. Plenty of holy shit factors. And I began to like characters I didn't originally like before. And the whole "what's going on??" thing is finally starting to really take shape.
