Mambo Italiano--gay. As in it's homosexual and just happy fun. What did I give it the first time? a B or B+? I don't remember.

Shrek - Clever and hilarious. Dreamworks has yet to match this film's quality (with the exception of Shrek 2, which has). A+

On the Beach- In a way, happy, in a way, dark. Either way, good.

Save the Tiger- Lemmon deserved the Oscar for this one: he's every scene of this good movie.

The Illusionist - An Edward Norton movie is always an event. It was intriguing (albeit just a little slow in pace) and original. I'm looking at perhaps another Oscar nomination for Paul Giamatti. Jessica Biel was surprisingly very good in this as well. A-
The Wicker Man (2006) - Where do I begin? Aside from the obvious "It's just another lame Hollywood attempt to recycle an old Horror movie" criticism that everyone is already giving it, hang on to your turbans kids, because I got more. Every actor who wasn't Nicolas Cage was terrible. The story moved at a glacial pace until about the last 25 minutes... And even then, it's just the unintentional comedy found in Nicolas Cage running around knocking out every female character he could find. I like Nick Cage quite a bit, but I need to smack him a couple times for agreeing to do this shit. D

I thought it would be, I knew it would, but thanks for proving it.

You've Got Mail--cute, but predicatable. There's a reason why Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan were in a couple movies together...they do have good chemistry. Though Ryan's bounciness and constantly chipperness--even when she's depressed--can get kinda old. But I do love Hanks. I'm going to give this a B-, saved from failure by Hanks and Ryan and the fact that it concerns books, which hardly are ever the subject of anything, are they?

Scoop- Woody Allen's funniest movie "Mighty Aphrodite." He's had some good ones recently but not too funny. The closest one to being as funny as this is "The Curse of the Jade Scorpion."

Shrek 2 - Every bit as good as (if not better than) its predecessor. You gotta love Puss in Boots. A+

Breaker Morant- A good court-martial film. I liked Beresford's "Tender Mercies" much more.

Watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith with my sister. Thought it was decent enough. The action was alright, there was enough to keep me there watching it. Simple enough to follow, another greatly appreciated plus. Yet, I'm still not a fan of either star so seeing them get a ton of screentime was a little distracting. I'd call it 6.5 out of 10.

Idiocracy - Mike Judge's new futuristic comedy. It was funny, stupid, and in a way poignant. The execs at Fox really need to have their heads examined for not publicizing this movie more. It ain't Office Space, but it gets the job done. B+

Dane Cook Vicious Circle- The funniest thing I have ever seen. Seriously.
World Trade Center- Lacked the emotional impact that made "United 93" so good.
