I thought the best is The Fall Of The House Of Usher? And honestly, The Masque always seemed boring to me. Heineken - Scary Movie 4 is like a bolder version of 3; but if you didn't like this one too much don't expect too much of a change with 4.

House of Usher I liked, but Masque I thought was better in that it was a more expansive film and did several things that Usher couldn't do (go out and explore the house more intently, the opening scene in the village, and final massacre at the ball) where much more ambitious. Usher is still number two for me, with Ligiea, Premature Burial and then Tales of Terror following. Still haven't seen Pendulum, but I will at some point.

John Tucker Must Die- I saw it with friends BECAUSE of friends. Just want to make that known. Anyway, it was very mediocre. VERY.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind--second best movie of 2004. A+.
Rat Race--silly, stupid fun. Not meant to be more than anything else I suppose. As far as revampings of 'It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Mad World' go, it could've been worse. B-.
Mambo Italiano--yes, Italian stereotypes are funny. It's nice seeing Paul Sorvino in a non-Mafia role. Cute and funny. B.

Empire of the Sun - Not really one of Spielberg's most cited films, but it is indeed one of his most powerful. An excellent debut for a young Christian Bale, great cinematography, and Spielberg's flawless direction made this a must-see film. A+
House of Sand and Fog - Starts of slow, but once the story kicks in, it packs a punch. The performances are stunning (except for Ron Eldard - he sucked), and the ending kicked ass. B+

Hulk - Excuse a guy for ADAPTING a comic book into a FILM. All the complaints I've heard were about how it was a drama and not an action movie. And that's a problem, because...? I mean, at least the drama was good. The actors make it work. And aside from that, give them one more movie and you'll get your popcorn flick. This was the introduction. I, for one, was GLAD it wasn't just another Spider-Man clone. It was different. And I liked it. B+

The Producers (2005) - An underrated send-up to the glory days of Hollywood musicals (such as Singin' in the Rain).

SUPERMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES - Volume 1 - Disc 2
This and the animated BATMAN series, are some of the best filmed versions of those two characters. Better than most of the live action movies and tv series. True story.

Scoop (2006) - How are the critics doin'?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. Strike One. Lady in the Water. Strike Two. Scoop. Strike Three.
Critics are having a really bad run this year. They just seem to be bigger assholes than usual. Scoop was FUNNY! Woody Allen was friggin hilarious, Scarlett Johansson was great, and Hugh Jackman was awesome. What more can you want?
