You, Me and Dupree - It's sitcomish, sure - especially towards the beginning. But it's amusing enough to be worth the price of admission. Owen Wilson is just a generally funny guy, and I gotta credit the cast and director for their great comic timing, although I did feel Michael Douglas' role would have been better suited for Christopher Walken. I say this because it seemed to me he was trying to do Christopher Walken.
It's not Wedding Crashers, but it gets the job done.

Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest- How awesome was it to see a guy's eye get ripped out and eaten in a Disney movie? AWESOME! How awesome was it to see the Kraken attack? AWESOME! How awesome were the last ten seconds of that movie? AWESOME! However, how was the rest of the film? A TRAVESTY AND A DISSPAOINTMENT BEYOND ALL BELIEFS!

The Andromeda Strain- Rushed and incompentently made.
Ghosts of Mississippi- A bit hokey, but very good.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)
I have a better name for this movie: "WHAT?"
This was the most confusing, mindfucking, ultimately frustrating movie I have ever seen.
I loved it.

Pirates of the Carribbean: Dead Man's Chest- How awesome was it to see a guy's eye get ripped out and eaten in a Disney movie? AWESOME! The "ripping out the eye" scene on DEADWOOD this past weekend beats it. Truly sick. Anyway, gotta disagree with your opinion of the movie itself. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST (2006) My comments are in Review Hell. 8.5/10

The Day The Earth Stood Still
Classic black and white Sci-Fi and the themes ring true today. I had to convince my husband to watch the whole thing by saying "it's like an extended twilight zone episode." He loved it by the end.
10/10

There was a lengthy thread in the Science Fiction section wherein Spacer attempted to explain the film to me. Check it out. He had some great thoughts on it.

The Warriors
A cult film that our friends insisted we had to watch with them. It was just like I expected...cheesy, silly 80s ridiculousness.
It helps to watch after you've had two huge margaritas.
;D
I dont even know if i can give it a rating...

Old School - A strong beginning (as far as I know) for the frat pack. I love this movie.
