Corpse Bride - Liked it better this time around. Great, imaginative Burton flick.
A Scanner Darkly - The rotoscoping was a cool effect, but totally unnecessary. If you liked the book, you'll like the movie. Keanu's flat as usual, although he does let some emotion escape. He was better in the Lake House. Still, a good movie.

L.A. Confidential (1997) - A tribute to the glory days of Hollywood (particularly Film Noir), with a great cast and a great director.

I watched Scream For Me Brazil, part of Bruce Dickinson's Anthology DVD set. It's alright but nowhere near best Iron Maiden's performances. Fave song: The Tower. Just kills here.

Buffalo Soldiers (2001)
A fun dark comedy about the military underground. Fell victim to 9/11 sentiment, but it was still a good movie.

I saw the musical comedy "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" a few hours ago. It was a slow start but turned into all out wacky, hilarious fun.
Boys Don't Cry- A beautiful love story turned tragedy.

I sorta watched Old Dracula yesterday. It was pretty dumb. Who makes a movie with 4 Playboy Playmates--then has the damn thing rated PG??

Traffic (2000)
Liked it a little better this time around. Still find it a little slow, and a little overrated, but it's still a good movie. That's why I bought it.

Was that the 79 one with Frank Langella as Dracula, Q? No, David Niven, 1974--also known as Vampira. Don't waste your time.

L.A. Confidential- As Smitty said, a brilliant throwback to the glory days.

Skunkworks Live, Bruce's Anthology again. Surprisingly, I liked it better than Scream For Me Brazil as this one was much more coherent (most of the concert was made of the Skunkworks album which I love).

Harold and Maude--I don't really know how to describe this movie, a buddy picture, love story, comedy, what? Well, it's kinda all three but then it kinda isn't. But it's one of the best of its kind. A+.
