Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut- So incredibly imaginative and genuis that for once I had to put together what happened while enjoying it. I don't think I've felt that since "Pulp Fiction."

Cars- 3/4 Very funny....and like Heineken said, "Mater" (Larry the Cable Guy) steals the movie. I might have to buy this one.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Pretty people, pretty cars, pretty fast... except in Japan. Racing sequences were awesome, but is it too much to ask that they hire an actual screenwriter? My God, the story, the dialogue... it was just ridiculous. The acting was pretty weak, too. It's somewhat watchable, I'll give it that much, but if you can't see it for free, wait.

Salvador- Good, but Oliver Stone has yet to make a big impression on me.

Taxi-I got this for my Dad for Father's Day, and I hope he doesn't think I hate him after this gift. God, was that movie stupid. I don't think I laughed or even chuckled at all. Fallon is a joke of a comedian and should stay back at SNL where people can pretend he's funny while not really caring. Bundchen should stay on the catwalk, and I don't even want to mention Latiffah in here, I don't have that much hate in me. I need to find something spectacular now for his birthday to make up for this dreck.
Lewis Black-Red, White and Screwed- Well, at least I laughed at this one. I much prefered his other HBO special, Black on Broadway, but he did make me laugh a lot. His ending story to elect a President in 2008 is classic, and got the most laughs. Mostly politics based, but there's enough out there for those that don't mind that topic to enjoy here. Not bad to spend an hour with, but I've seen far more hilarious stand-ups.

I tried watching it on HBO and couldn't finish it. Watch the TAXI tv series instead. Now that was a funny show and has nothing to do with this abortion of a movie, other than the same title. Last night we finished watching: WALT DISNEY TREASURES: THE COMPLETE GOOFY 2-disc collection of all the classic animated shorts starring Goofy. It was hit & miss. For die-hards only.

ET.--You'd have to be pretty heartless not to like this movie. A+.

I already know how to make it up to him, so I don't plan on seeing adoption papers anytime soon.

Gangs of New York
A slightly underrated Scorsese flick, and a great period piece.
Thank You for Smoking
A funny, intelligent satire on Big Tobacco and its spin doctors. It's made up by a great cast and a flawless screenplay. Worth the half hour it took me to drive to the art house theater that was playing it, but deserves a wider release.

Superman II
Meh. A far cry from part one, very (VERY) dated, and sorry to say wasn't too impressed with Terrence Stamp. Laughable in some scenes. I'll give it this much, though. It was very fun to watch.
