Nacho Libre - A funny enough movie. Better than Napoleon Dynamite in some ways, inferior in others. Napoleon Dynamite was more consistent in way of comedy, but this had more of a story (which may have been the cause for its inconsistency). I also could have done without the fart jokes -- thank God they kept those to a minimum.
Green Street Hooligans - A kickass movie with witty writing, great acting and tons of action.

Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (1990) - A clever and funny take on Hamlet. Tim Roth, Gary Oldman and Richard Dreyfuss were perfect.

Nacho Libre- what the critics don't seem to understand is that this IS a kids movie. It's brought to us by Nickelodeon. So with that mindset I enjoyed it. Kids in my theatre liked it better than Cars I think (in their reactions). Plus Luchadors are fun. Jack Black can wear thin on me though...

The Remains of the Day- Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson turn great performances in this timeless classic.
Before Sunset- Great acting, but where's the action?!

Before Sunset- Great acting, but where's the action?! Ha, ha - you honestly expected a Chuck-Norris-style action here, frank?! It's a very good film, though. I just saw Gunfighter's Moon - an enjoyable western with Lance Henriksen and Kay Lenz. The day before - Poseidon. Fast, well-acted for most of the time (Lucas, Russell and Dreyfuss) and with impressive effects and several good, tense scenes. Nothing Earth-shattering, though.

Dude, I wasn't expecting "Delta Force 2." I was expecting "Delta Force TIMES 2!" In all plain seriousness, it was just talking. And talking isn't what just makes a movie.

Fanny and Alexander- Starts off a fine film, than after the first 45 minutes it gets boring.

The Rules of the Game- Generally called one of the top films of all time, I had to see it. And it bored me. I found no humor or reasonable plot from after a half hour in!
Grand Illusion- Now this, on the other hand, is Renoir's masterpiece. Perfectly made. I felt it was a few minutes too long, but that can't hurt this awesome picture.

The Lake House - A well-constructed modern fairy tale. Worth seeing because for the first time in the history of motion picture, I kid you not, Keanu Reeves shows EMOTION. There's even a hint of acting in his performance as well. It's not without its flaws, but it's still a fine film.

THE LINE KING: THE AL HIRSCHFELD STORY (1996)
Very good documentary about the revered entertainment caricaturist.
8/10
MADAGASCAR (2005)
Funny, fast moving, nice visuals and some great vocal performances. Better than the trailers led me to believe it was going to be.
7.5/10
