ROCK STAR's good, but it's kind of a second-rate COVER OF THE ROLLING STONE by Dr. Hook. Remember that one? Yeah, I remember that one... ;D I like Animals too, but Photograph is def. my fave from the cd.

Pynchon's strictly cult but what's the music like there, Pulp?
I bought Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Christmas Time Again".

Pynchon's strictly cult but what's the music like there, Pulp? I bought Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Christmas Time Again". Oh man, I just noticed this, sorry Bart! Lotion is really good, very Pavement-ish (though not as talented as the latter). They're kind of like the band who're making fun of the indie bands of the 90s while at the same time proudly being one of them. But I did get into them because of Pynchon, not gonna lie.

Just got "Neon Bible" from the Arcade Fire. Good but not as good as "Funeral." And Arcade Fire are a good band but I never really thought they were the greatest act to come out of Montreal. Oh, for the liteary, the album shares a title with a John Kennedy Toole book, you know, the guy who wrote "A Confederacy of Dunces." Haven't read it, so I don't know if there's all sorts of references in there that I'm missing.
