I restarted Resident Evil 4. Got to start a new game with all my upgrades, weapons and money from the last one. Once I have a million bucks, I'll be able to buy the "Infinite Rocket Launcher."
That'll be sweet.

"Silent Hill 2"--I'm not very far but this game is awesome and continues to scare the shit out of me. So when I get too scared and feel like playing a game I'll play either
"Red Dead Revolver" or "Guitar Hero"!

Oh. My. God. I just took two days off school to play some game called Darkwatch with a friend. It's not a great game in itself, standard gothic fps. BUT... the combination of absinthe, e, no lights, a big screen TV and Frank Sinatra on the stereo (I can't really remember the rationale behind the last one) made shooting the shit out of vampires one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. On day 2, I went down the road to buy some nuts in my bare feet and ended up running away from a suspicious looking squirrel. Definitely one of the hight points of the year.

I picked up 'Trace Memory' for the DS on clearance this week at Target. The puzzles are incredibly easy, but for 15 bucks I'll take it. It does star a girl, which is always cool.

Finally finished Resident Evil 3 last night, the GameCube rerelease.
There's no doubt that Nemesis is the worst enemy ever planted in an RE game. Bastard.
I had more ammo than I knew what to do with. How is that Resident Evil?? I shouldn't be able to wander to the final boss with 94 Incendiary Grenades and 60 Acid Grenades, on top of which, I had the Rocket Launcher and 4 rockets.
Still wandering through Animal Crossing. I planted several new signs around the town, one with an Iron Cross (which I made), another with a skull with blood dripping from it's mouth. I won't mention the other two!
Been hitting Metroid Prime and Prime 2 every now and then, too.

We just got the greatest game of all time:
The "Typing of the Dead" for the Dreamcast. One of the two keyboards we got from eBay didn't work though, so we're going to have to wait for the guy to replace it.
It's basically House of the Dead II, but you shoot zombies by typing words, phrases, and sentences to shoot them instead of using a light-gun. It's a million times more fun that it sounds.
And it's about a billion times more fun than that piece of shit movie.

R.I.P.
Sony Playstation 2 December 25th 2001-March 12th 2006
Loving companion and Video Game Console
My PS2 died on me today. For the past few months, it wouldn't read anything I put into it. I attempted to operate, opening up the inside and voiding the already-expired warranty, but to no avail. I was unable to put it back together again. All I have now are my fond memories. My last console before I stopped playing video games. My window into many a world of fantasy that only great imaginations can conjure. I am at a loss. And now, my final sendoff.
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms. Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms...

Leaning, leaning, safe and secure from all alarms. Leaning, leaning, leaning on the everlasting arms... I've had my NES since 1990, and it still works almost without flaw (depends on the condition of the game). Now you can save your money for the PS3, and you're gonna need a lot. The Blu-Ray drive alone costs about $300 and the Cell processor costs about $250. That means each PS3 costs at least $550 to mass produce. That doesn't factor in how much the rest of the crap they're putting in there will cost, if they include a harddrive and the wireless controllers. Oh, and rumor has it, the PS3 will not connect to ye olde Analog TV sets... and some speculate that it won't be out until December... in Japan. America... maybe next year. Just speculation, though. Or, hey, better yet, buy and Xbox360--and have the exact same thing happen to you much much sooner! At any rate, we've been playing Animal Crossing a lot lately. I've fully upgraded my house, and now just want to pay it off. Also, I finally caught a Selacanth. I can't wait for the online version of this on the Revolution.

I just bought myself another PS2 yesterday. Why, you ask?
Final Fantasy XII, baby! I had been anticipating that game for the last three years or so, and I owed it to myself to play it. So I bought another PS2 just so I could buy the game.
And let me tell you, it is one nice game. The gameplay is getting better, although they still haven't done away with that turn-based crap just yet. They're getting there, though.

I just bought Guitar Hero II and Call of Duty 3. I beat Guitar Hero II last night on medium at two in the morning. After I beat Tonight UI'm Gonna Rock You by Spinal Tap, my drummer spontaneously combusted. Now I'm playing Call of Duty 3. I still haven't finished God of War of Final Fantasy X. I want Madden NFL 07, Final Fantasy XII, Resivoir Dogs, and God of War II.

So I've been playing the Wii and it is so incredibly awesome. I haven't had that much fun with a video game, a sports game no less, in ages.
Then I played Guitar Hero II which is rather disappointing. The first one had a much better collection of songs that were just that much more fun to play. This one, while a blast, lacks the, I don't know, heart of the original, which was quickly made and snazzy whereas this one has money behind it and . . . almost overkill. But there are a few shine-out numbers and being able to play bass on a couple co-op songs is great.
