All you people with your modern popular movies! I watched "Slaughterhouse-Five" Cute. And all you kids, catching up on movies I saw 15-20 years ago. Anyway, here's another modern popular one for ya. X-MEN: THE LAST STAND (2006) As someone who actually grew up reading The Uncanny X-Men comics, specifically the era that's been represented in the movies, I thought this latest entry was no better or worse than the previous two. Maybe it won't age as well, but as of right now, I really liked it. 8/10

Out of Sight- All around great. Then again, it was based off an Elmore Leonard book, so what did you expect?

Superman (1978) - Only one of the greatest comic book films ever made. Looking forward to Superman Returns.

Good choice, Smitty. I plan on rewatching the first two Chris Reeve SUPERMAN movies sometime before SUPERMAN RETURNS, as well. Last night on Turner Classic Movies (!) we watched ROCKY III (1982) I knew there was a reason I love the first ROCKY, but tend to roll my eyes regarding the sequels. CHEESEY!! Rocky fights two cartoon characters, Thunderlips (Hulk Hogan) and Clubber Lang (Mr. T), and everyone's muscles are so shiny and glistening that all three of them look like life-size action figures. I think they all rolled around in baby oil just before they would film their scenes. The unintentional homoeroticism in this flick was pretty funny too. (Watch the scene where Rocky and Apollo are prancing around in the ocean clapping their hands and hugging each other in tiny little shorts.) Don't even get me started on that fucking "Eye Of The Tiger" song, though. At least Burgess Meredith as Rocky's trainer Mickey, managed to leave the series with some dignity still intact. That is, until he returned in a cameo as Obi-Wan Mickey in EPISODE V, er, I mean ROCKY 5. 5/10

Me, Myself & Irene - An underrated Farrelly bros. flick. Jim Carrey is a funny guy.

Then I totally recorded the rest, along with "Devil in a Blue Dress" and "Get on the Bus."

The Proposition (2006) - A great indy flick reminiscent of Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns, though set in the old Australian Outback. Guy Pearce, Emily Watson and John Hurt were excellent in their respective roles, it was nicely shot complete with beautiful scenery, and great music. This is one of the best movies of the year.

Hostel 2/4- Good gore...but I think Wolfcreek was better... Much better, yeah. I saw: Silent Hill. One of the worst horror films I saw at the theatre. A disgrace to the genre that can't even be saved by the super-gorgeous Radha Mitchell.
