This Is Spinal Tap (1984) - I've watched this so many times by all rights I should be throwing up. The thing is, I still find this to be one of the funniest films ever created. "Stone Henge" may very well be the single funniest scene in the history of film.

Been away for a little while, so this is a "catch up" post for what I've watched in the last couple of weeks. TV shows: WONDER WOMAN - Season Two - Disc 1 (Damn, this show was cheesey! God bless Linda Carter and her star-spangled ass.) SOAP - Season Three - Disc 1 (Damn, this show was funny! Richard Mulligan as Burt Campbell was a comedic genius!)
Movies: KING KONG (2005) 8/10 (Already losing a bit of it's luster on a second viewing.) CONSTANTINE (2005) 5.5/10 CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (2005) 7.5/10 ROBOTS (2005) 5/10 (Derivative.) THE ROCK (1996) 5.5/10 (Shrug. A good cast, Sean Connery, Nic Cage, Ed Harris, Michael Biehn, David Morse, etc., but the typical Bay/Bruckheimer bombast.)

Lost - Season 1
Damn cliffhangers. Anyone know when Season 2's gonna be released on DVD?
Great show, though. I gotta say, this is one of the few great series left on television today.

The Visitation 2/4- Pretty good, but the ending was kinda anti-climactic.

War of the Worlds (2005) - Another great blockbuster by the master (and creator) of the blockbuster himself, Steven Spielberg.

Finding Nemo, which my Mom bought for my son. Best animated film ever. I loved Finding Nemo, and it was definitely the best animated film of 2003. I'm just more partial to Toy Story.

Gone With the Wind- Such a powerful, powerful...sleeping pill... Indeed. Watched "shindig" episode from thee Firefly series. This is the 4th episode on the tv/dvd/set. So far not overally impressed with the show. Still 10 more episodes left to watch. After which, I'll decide if the Movie Serenity is worth all the hype its getting from fans.

Why, in my day we didn't have no cartoons made with no fancy shmancy computers! Everything was hand drawn! ;D Just kidding guys, and in that vein, last night we watched LADY AND THE TRAMP (1955) 7/10 Good for the old school animated features, but overall I do enjoy FINDING NEMO and TOY STORY more.

I set up my Netflix queue to send me a movie off of IMDb's Bottom 100 from time to time. This time, it was Glitter (2001), Mariah Carrey's pretentious biographical movie. I managed to muster up the MST3K which brings it the 10%.
Yes, I'm that much of an MST3K fan that I watch movies they didn't do and attempt to do it myself.
