Alex & Emma. Rob Reiner directed it? No way! The first scene - Wilson trying to hide in his flat - is ace but the rest... oh my... 2/10

Borat -- it's funny. In fact, it's TOO funny. There's so much going on throughout that you just get exhausted from laughing that you just can't do it to some of the jokes at the end. Which is the tricky thing with comedy. I mean -- take my favorite comedy and movie of the year so far, "Little Miss Sunshine", where it was absolutley hysterical but it balances it out with some increidbly emotional scenes that let you pause so that the stuff towards the end is all the more hysterical. The film starts out with everyone saying, "Oh that Borat! His views are so whacked!" then when he gets into middle America you see that a lot of people are exactly like the way he is, except with a better grasp on the English language (which isn't that great anyways). Still, it's very funny. B+.

RAVENOUS (1999)
Tasty morsel about cannibalism during the Mexican-American War. One part Dances With Wolves mixed with two parts Silence Of The Lambs and a dash of Eating Raul to spice it up. Twisted & funny in a dark humor kinda way. As soon as I saw the title card at the beginning that said, "Eat me - Anonymous", I knew I was in for something different. It was pretty filling with only a slight after-taste. Well done!
7/10

The Rocky Horror Picture Show -- it's the science fiction double feature . . . . A. I would like...if I may, to take you on a strange journey. ;D Near DarkVampires

CRASH (1996)
The one directed by David Cronenberg. CRASH is an appropriate title as this movie is pretty much a wreck. What a waste of my time.
2/10

Mallrats--man, Smith messed up on this one. Pretty much all of the jokes fall flat. I don't know...which is worse...Jersey Girl or this....D.

Ahh, Jersey Girl is MUCH worse, Pulp - no doubt about that. Mallrats at least sports some cheesy charm and JG is so damn bland I couldn't believe it's a Smith film!

Office Space -- pretty entertaining and way better than it is on Comedy Central. I still don't like the soundtrack. B.

Little Miss Sunshine -- best movie of the year, easily. And still an A+. Maybe an A++, but that doesn't exist.
