Well, the most favorite Star Wars flick, Empire, will soon be the last favorite at the box office.
Anyone else, see Episode III more than once?

Yeah. That's sad Empire is last, since it's my favorite two.
I've seen Episode III more than once.

Anyone else, see Episode III more than once? Was gonna go see it again this weekend, but things just didn't work out. I WILL see it at least one more time before it leaves the theatres though.

Lucas's piggy bank - Domestic Total $2,092,658,917I was watching some of the extras on the Ep.1 dvd last night & on one part they were talking about budget & what they could do to save money. Seems kind of ironic...

Seems kind of ironic... Indeed it is. I know that some of the money went to production costs & the studio, but come on! Titanic was 200 mill shy of the 2 billion mark worldwide + domestic. The Star Wars films have surpassed 2 billion domestic! Looks like the Sith will take care of Jedi soon..

He probably has another 2 billion stored in his piggy bank from SW merchandise & THX, LucasArts etc..

He probably has another 2 billion stored in his piggy bank from SW merchandise & THX, LucasArts etc.. And don't forget ILM (Industrial Light & Magic)! And did you know he used to own Pixar? I think he actually sold off THX though, but don't quote me on that. The guy's got more money than God. I actually don't think SITH will top EPISODE I at the box office. My prediction: $350 - 375 MIL domestic. Just too much competition already out there (MADAGASCAR, THE LONGEST YARD, etc.) and about to be released (BATMAN BEGINS, WAR OF THE WORLDS, etc.).

I've seen Episode III twice now. That's probably going to be all, though. I'd still like to get around to Unleashed and Kingdom of Heaven before they're gone.
And if you guys want Episode V to make more money--just watch the hell out of it when Lucas re-re-releases it in 3-D in a couple years.
Probably with a shitload of extra-crappy scenes for no reason...
