Have you factored in for inflation since the original trilogy's release? Tickets cost 3 times as much now. Episode VI's probably only made about a third or fourth as much as Episode IV. Do you mean EPISODE VI RETURN OF THE JEDI, or did you actually mean EPISODE III REVENGE OF THE SITH? Confusing, ain't it? And no, not factoring in for inflation here. If that were the case, GONE WITH THE WIND would still be the number one movie. Dammit! When I said 6 I meant 3. Lousey brain! Me think betterer in futuur tymes.

Inflation doesn't count in my books. If a film (Like Star Wars EP IV) was only under $5 a ticket back when, (1977) it made $5 per/ticket, not $12 or $15 per ticket.
Also it was re-released for a stint in 97?? for $10 a ticket. These #'s are also included with the Overall Domestic Total.
When EP III gets the final boot out of theaters, I might add in the Overall Oversea's Total, but as far as inflation, sorry, don't buy into that.

Well, as the STAR WARS whore that I am, I ended up seeing it 5 times in movie theaters. And now I'm getting geared up to pick up the DVD next week. Here ya go, Mr. Lucas. Please take some more of my money. ;D

But there's guaranteed to be a six-pack of all the movies just around the corner! That's what I'm waiting for.

And now I'm getting geared up to pick up the DVD next week. Yeah, me too. I'm saving my pennies... ;D At Wal-Mart we're selling a two pack, the movie & some kind of documentary "The Story of Star Wars"...not sure if this is a new doc or an old one. Any ideas?

Oh, I'm sure there'll be a six pack someday, but seeing as how I've already bought the first five, what's the point of waiting? Plus, Lucasfilm will spice up that box set with some all new extras to make it worth buying them all over again. LDG, I heard about that bonus disc at Walmart. I think it's new stuff, but not 100% positive.
