Yeah, that's almost impossible as most of the stores I frequent for such stuff, despite being really into the underground, never heard of them or have no way to get into contact with their US-based distribution label, as I don't even know what they're signed for on the US market. My Last Warrior copy is a German import anyway, so I don't even know if they've ever got a US deal in place, but I'll definitely be on the look-out for their stuff if I ever come across it.

I've been mostly buying older CDs lately: Praying Mantis, Savatage, Taraxacum. By the way, slayrrr - did you hear anything by Taraxacum? There are some musicians from Edguy there plus the superb Steel Prophet vocalist Rick Mythiasin. If you're not familiar with them, try to find their songs "Spirit of Freedom" or "Disfunctional" on YouTube and let me know what you think - in my opinion they are one kick-ass act!

I don't own any official albums from them, just a few songs from the mix-CDs my friends send me. I haven't been able to find any of their CDs here in the US for a while, so I'll go check those songs out.

I bought the two albums they've released so far on eBay - rather cheap, too. But before buying these I already knew this is music I love. Check them out, slayrrr!

I've been a little busy the last few days, so I haven't had a chance to get a lot of extracurricular stuff done, but I'll check them out when I get a chance.

Finally bought Gamma Ray's "Blast From the Past" - and although I miss Scheepers' vocals on the early tracks I just love these 2 CDs, a very good compilation!

Is One with the World on that? Man I love that song, I'd love to know if that was there.

Is One with the World on that? Man I love that song, I'd love to know if that was there. That's the first GR song I've ever heard and I love it, too! It's from "Sigh No More" - a great album!

Well, I've actually gotten it now since we've lasted talked, and while the re-recorded vocal parts are a little off-putting, I can't argue the song-list. Great stuff there.

Yeah, Scheepers KILLED in Gamma Ray - I almost cried when they announced he departs the band... Seriously - this was a Kiske-leaves-Helloween level of disappointment for me, and I was rather surprised that so many Gamma Ray fans almost didn't seem to notice this at all.

That's before my time, so I wouldn't have had any experience at that point.
The thing that you have to remember, though, is that if you release stuff like Land of the Free and Somewhere Out in Space, not too many people are going to complain about the lead singer change. Then when the departed lead singer's new group is Primal Fear with that debut, I'd say all's forgiven.

I agree, "Land of the Free" is a killer album - but even when listening to it for the very first time and loving every minute of it I was angry about Scheepers' departure. And "Sigh No More" is still one of my favourite GR albums after all this time.

Well, I guess that's just historical difference. You were there to experience it, I wasn't so I just have the music to judge. Great music nonetheless, but just the music.
