Come on guys! You have almost identical views and opinions. You just present them from different angles. You are both right. You're both uttered so wise statements. But it's sad to see all the time in my life people debating futilely and fiercely for no reason. Look for agreement and common not for malice, artificial & forced difference and having the ultimate wisdom. I know I sound damn patronizing but I'm an old farter after all.  |

Now you listen here, you old fart!! Good point. I noticed years ago that one of the things humans primarily do with their time is argue about petty bullshit. People will argue about absolutely anything. Here's an example from my real life! My friends and I used to argue about who had the worst job. And at other times, we'd argue about who had the hardest job. And other times, we'd argue about who had the best job. And still other times, we'd argue about who had the easiest job. Did you know, that when it came right down to it, somehow, we all had the worst, hardest, best, easiest job? If I had the easiest job, I certainly didn't have the hardest! But that's how we argued about petty shit! The only difference 42nd and I appear to have on the whole issue of (do in Southern accent) "people that hate gays fer bein' all queer" is that I don't concern myself with it, but it drives 42nd into a frenzy of rage! Hooray for the internet!! |
