Good God, man! Stop "buying" DVDs and start "watching" them! That's like having a really impressive library of books you've never read! That's like having a refrigerator full of food you don't eat! That's like living on the beach and never going swimming! That's like... okay, I'll stop now. ;D

Just because I havn't yet seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show doesn't mean (set in stone) I don't care to see it & never will.

Well, when you do decide to see it you'll either love it or you'll hate it. I have yet to find anyone who is neutral about it.

I love it in a theater with an audience, but it's not nearly as much fun watching it alone at home on a TV. The audience participation is what makes that movie unique. I even saw the live stage version of it in the mid nineties. Now that was a riot! I would recommend to anyone who's never seen it, not to watch it on TV as your first time. Try to see it in a theater if you can.

Unfortunately I've never had the chance to see it in a theater w/ an audience. The closest I've came is in a living room w/ about 10 other drunk people. ;D Interesting to say the least. ..

A very interesting list! Just a shame there are so many movies I haven't yet seen on it. Here they go:
2 The Rocky Horror Picture Show 3 Freaks 7 Repo Man 11 Five Deadly Venoms 12 Plan 9 From Outer Space 14 Eraserhead 15 Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! 16 The Warriors 17 Dazed And Confused 20 The Mack 23 Akira 26 Stranger Than Paradise 28 The Wiz 30 The Harder They Come 31 Slap Shot 33 Grey Gardens 35 Withnail and I 37 A Bucket Of Bood 39 The Best Of Everything 40 Barbarella 41 Heathers 43 The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across The 8th Dimension 44 Love Streams 45 Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story 47 Walking And Talking 49 Friday 53 Mommie Dearest 54 The Princess Bride 57 Valley of the Dolls 61 Donnie Darko
I saw pieces of some of these movies but never the whole thing from start to finish. And if we talk Faces Of Death: boy, that's sick! I hate such things and only saw it 'cause everyone was talking about it at the time, and since I was yet at the primary school back then, it was like a proof of courage to have survived Faces.

Uhh.. Freaks (1932) Yeah, I think I'll pass. Oh come on, just because it's from 1932 doesn't mean it is bad. Its by Todd Browning (who directed Dracula with Lugosi) and was banned for a LONG time because it's nasty. It stars real circus freaks from that time period and has a really bizarre story that ends in horror. Plus, a lot of movies today reference it but you may not realize until you see it. There is a reason it's a "cult classic."

Term, don't tell me you're one of those, "If it's silent, in B & W, or made before the 60's, I'm not interested in seeing it.", people. FREAKS is not silent, BTW. You'll miss out on a lot of good movies. As someone who buys a lot of movies on DVD, I would think you'd also be interested in the classics & the history of cinema, not just the latest blockbusters. Pretty much everything you see nowadays was influenced by something in the past. And I don't mean "rip-offs" or "remakes".
