Oh for class I just finished "The Awakening." Can someone please tell me why Sofia Coppola hasn't adapted this yet? As in Kate Chopin's book? If so, yeah, it's definitely up Mrs. Coppola's league. I'm currently reading "Jane Eyre" for a class. Pretty good so far, one of the most atmospheric Gothic Romances ever written, IMHO. Yeah, you're right, the Kate Chopin one. Just finished "Gates of Eden," which was pretty good collection of short stories. Some were really good and very Coeny while others were a little...eh. I'd give it a B. I'm reading a book of poems now called "The Drunken Driver has the Right of Way." Again, by Ethan Coen. It's short.

Just finished Ethan Coen's book of poems, which were entertaining.
Now, I'm reading "Watchmen" by Alan Moore.

My next book will be "Cell" by Stephen King. I'm about half-way through that one now....the first part is kinda slow, but it's starting to pick up.

I call my self a King fan...yet this is the 2nd book I've read by him. The first was Salem's Lot. In fifth grade. So it's my second King book ever. My first King book in 2 years. Wow.

I ordered Cell from US, though I really, really don't have much time for reading now.

Dude...The Shining...and The Gunslinger (I haven't read past that in the Dark Tower series). Finished the "Watchmen," which was really good until the end which was a big let-down...I don't know maybe I was reading it WRONG because my friend was like, "GREATEST ENDING EVER!" But it just...fell flat to me. Otherwise, it was a pretty damn good "graphic novel." Now I'm reading "Vengeance" by George Jonas--the book that "Munich" is based upon.

Don't feel bad Pulp, I dont like "Watchmen" very much either. One of the few who admits it...I probably would get beat up at a nerd convention if I ever said it loud enough though. People take their love of Watchmen VERY seriously.
Have you read Alan Moore's "V for Vendetta?' - a little better, but if you've read 1984 it may have a very 'been there, done that' feel.
