Another word on IB: The Michael Madsen-starring War Pic is a lock for the next release, he says. "I'm doing Inglorious Bastards next. It's my bunch-of-guys-on-a-mission movie. It's my World War 2 movie".That is until the weather changes again & he changes his mind...

Here's a bit from QT on who he'd like to have in 'Inglorious Bastards'...
Seems those unremitting rumours about Quentin Tarantino wanting to round-up screen's biggest stars for a new WWII pic called "Inglorious Bastards" as a accurate as a nutrional information table on a bottle of Sprite.
According to The Arnold Fans, Tarantino wants - in addition to Bo Svenson, Michael Madsen and Adam Sandler - three of the 80's biggest action guns to fire up for his two-part Dirty Dozen.
"I've said it once and I am going to say it again. I want Bruce, Sly and Arnold for my World War II epic. I have always dream[t] of having these 3 superstars together in a movie", says the Saturday Night Fever boardgame playing director.
How's Governor Schwarzenegger supposed to fit this in with his busy schedule though? "Maybe during the holidays. We'll shoot the movie quickly".
Tarantino says he originally planned "Bastards" in 1998, but left it to sear for a while, while he went off and made other pics.
"Right now I think it's the best time to have them. I am very well free right now to focus on this big project that I have had in mind for quite a number of years.", says Tarantino, adding that he hopes to have the film out in 2006.

Tough choice, I did Kill Bill (parts one and two). Those movies are cool on so damn many levels.
But Reservoir Dogs and True Romance--those rock, too. I realized that any woman that watches and enjoys True Romance on a date is probably a keeper.

I got an e-mail yesterday from Taryn at Automat Pictures. I don't know if any one here lives in the LA area or would be interested, but I told her I would help get the word out. And I can't wait to see the documentary! Automat Pictures in Los Angeles has been hired by the Independent Film Channel to produce a retrospective documentary on Reservoir Dogs that will air this June. “Revisiting Reservoir Dogs” will examine the film’s unique place in pop culture history. It will celebrate its eclectic cast of characters, use of humor and violence, unique storytelling style, fashion, and much more. We are asking artists, musicians, cultural critics, and actors to share their perspective on the film, and appear in our documentary via an on-camera interview. There is a possibility that we may contact fans of Tarantino and the film as well. The documentary will be shooting in downtown LA this Thursday and Friday (May 5-6). If you have started a website, wrote a book, made a tribute film or video, painting, or any other artistic response inspired by Quentin Tarantino or the movie, live in the LA area and are interested in appearing in the documentary, e-mail Taryn ASAP at taryn@automatpictures.com

This Thursday is the 2-hour season finale of CSI that Quentin directed. Just a little heads-up for anyone interested.

Here's an unconfirmed casting rumor for 'Inglorious Bastards'....
Hollywood actor MICHAEL MADSEN has confirmed director QUENTIN TARANTINO's all-star line-up for his highly-anticipated war movie INGLORIOUS BASTARDS.
Madsen, who has collaborated with the maverick filmmaker on RESERVOIR DOGS and the KILL BILL movies, will star in the Second World War film alongside TIM ROTH, and comics ADAM SANDLER and EDDIE MURPHY.
The casting of Murphy will surprise many fans, as starring in a Tarantino production would signal a desire to step away from appearing in family films such as DADDY DAY CARE and voicing an animated character in the SHREK movies.
Madsen tells movie website EMPIREONLINE.CO.UK, "It's myself and Tim Roth, Adam Sandler, and Eddie Murphy."

Trust me, you didn't miss anything. 90 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Tarantino was literally only in it for about two minutes and it was pretty embarassing. Thank God, they're finally releasing the original Muppet Show on DVD in season box sets cause these new Muppet endeavors are just not cutting it. Mr. Henson, you are sorely missed.

From IMDB:
Russell Replaces Rourke As 'Grind House' Killer
Kurt Russell has replaced Mickey Rourke as the sick killer in Quentin Tarantino's new horror film Grind House, according to internet reports. Rourke reportedly pulled out of the project earlier this month and Tarantino immediately went to Russell and asked him to play Stuntman Mike, a man terrorizing young girls in his portion of the new film, which will also features a separate storyline shot by pal Robert Rodriguez. Internet website Moviehole.net reports the Poseidon star signed on for the role on Friday. Tarantino's section of Grind House, subtitled "Death Proof," will also feature Marilyn Manson's ex-girlfriend Rose McGowan and Kill Bill stuntwoman Zoe Bell in her first starring role. Horror movie master John Carpenter is in negotiations to record the film's score.
