Well, it's gotta be one of these then: Airbag Paranoid Android Subterranean Homesick Alien Exit Music (Though Q already guessed this one) Let Down Karma Police Fitter Happier Electioneering Climbing Up the Walls No Surprises (This is my #1 guess from this list.) Lucky The Tourist Hey, so far I may actually tolerate that kind of guessing in my Guess the Gore thread, if for no better reason than to get more people playing! I'm going with fairly popular films!

Well, you narrowed it down to two, but which one is it?

Finally! Yes!!!
Jeez!
It was PARANOID ANDRIOD by Radiohead; Christopher Nolan wanted it, decided it would be too expensive for his little film and chose something else (I think it was a Bowie song).
Quorthon, you get to divide up the points. For Christ's sakes, it went on long enough (though I provoked towards the end there)!

Okay, this one may be realitivley easy, but I can't think of a good one at the moment, and I know you're DYING to answer some trivia. Just kidding. Okay, Christopher Nolan wanted to use "this song" at the end of Memento, but decided against it because he thought it was too big for the production. What song and what band is it? Here's your original question--and it does seem a two-parter. I initially got the band and Heineken got the song, so we each got a point. Hey! I finally got a point on my trivia thread!! Woo-Hoo!! As with last time, the person who answered the two-parter first gets the next question--and that happens to be me. So gimme a second. I'll make an "easy" one.... Current score: Heineken Skywalker -- 6 Pulpmariachi -- 2 IamTheSmitty -- 1 frankenjohn -- 1 Termination -- 1 Livingdeadgirl -- 1 Bartwald -- 1 Quorthon -- 1 I'm up!!

In the 1955, giant Sci-Fi monster film, "Tarantula," what current big-time Hollywood leading man played a bit part as a fighter pilot firing napalm on the creature at the end?
The actor was uncredited....

Pretty sure it was Clint Eastwood.

Okay, here we go:
Both John Carpenter and David Cronenberg turned down the chance to direct this film.
First hint: 80's release.

I'm pissed off about the "Tarantula" one. Reading it, I instantly thought Clint Eastwood.
Ha! I know this one. When "A History of Violence" came out, I read David Cronenberg's IMDB page. I have no idea why theyd choose David Cronenberg or John Carpenter to direct this EPIC film called "Return of the Jedi."

Sorry man. They may have both been offered JEDI, never heard that before, but that's not the answer I was looking for. I did however know that David Lynch was offered RETURN OF THE JEDI and he turned it down to do DUNE instead.
Time for another hint?
First hint: 80's release. Second hint: Not a horror movie. Third hint: Huge box office hit.
