I'll take your word for it.
Um...the band hails from Oxford.

You got the artist!
Yay Quorthon!
The next hint would've been this band was featured on the soundtrack. Now what's the song?

Scatterbrain...no Exit Music (For a Film)...end credits of Baz Luhrumann's Romeo + Juliet
Amnesiac is an album (unless you meant Amnesiac/Morning Bell, which is a song, but it's not this one).
In this Guitar World special edition magazine a couple years ago, this song was number 34 for the greatest guitar solo of all time.

Were both those bands featured on the soundtrack?
Oh, and it was Radiohead.

Okay, Pulp, here are the Radiohead songs I'm guessing:

Well, it's gotta be one of these then:
Airbag Paranoid Android Subterranean Homesick Alien Exit Music (Though Q already guessed this one) Let Down Karma Police Fitter Happier Electioneering Climbing Up the Walls No Surprises (This is my #1 guess from this list.) Lucky The Tourist

Cheap, cheap, cheap.
I'm not going to tell you which one of those it is. But it's not No Surprises (my favorite Radiohead song).
This song was inspired by The Beatles' Happiness is a Warm Gun.

Oh, you suck! Term was able to get away with that when guessing the horror movies, so I figured, hey, why not. Anyway, how about Let Down or Karma Police?

No and no.
I'm not going to leave any other hints because you all will just exhaust the track list, and basically all I could do now is tell you the track number.
