Nope. Alright, another hint:
This song had nothing to do with, like the mind or anything.

Now, Pulp - this totally DIDN'T help!

Oh, okay! Just because you're BART you get another hint....actually, a clarification of the hint.
This song has no mention of remembering or the brain or anything like that in the title. Example, things like "Where is my Mind?" are out.

Paint it Black from the Rolling Stones?
Or something from Oasis?

Nope, this band came WAY after The Rolling Stones.
Oasis is in the general era though.

"Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve? I said the Stones, Pulp says newer, Heiney says The Verve--the band sued into oblivion by the Stones--for Bittersweet Symphony! Is Moby a Brit?

Nope. Moby would be an American.
I heard it was a record company that sued over "Bittersweet Symphony." That was our Senior Song in high school. First class in like, 5 or 6 years to have NOT used "Good Riddance" by Green Day! Yeah!
'nother hint? This band...was once called On a Friday.

I saw an interview with Kieth Richards talking about being "ripped off" by the Verve for sampling one of their songs in Bittersweet Symphony. On a Friday..... Same vein as Oasis.... Where are the Cranberries from?
