The author who wrote the original novel this film was based on, was so bitter about the changes the filmmakers were making to his story, that he vowed never to watch the completed film. What was the name of the movie?

I want to say Lawnmower Man--but that was a short story...
I know King was displeased.
How about Watchers? That movie blew.

First hint: Not a Stephen King movie. That'll eliminate a whole bunch of guesses right there.

Was it Ken Kessey and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest?

Ha! There were many displeased writers, right? Not sure who vowed something like that...
Dean Koontz because of Watchers? Clive Cussler because of Sahara?

Was it Ken Kessey and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? Holy crap! Pulp got it already! Great job! Yes, to this day, Kessey hasn't seen the classic film based on his book. He claims that one day he was flipping channels and came across a movie that looked kind of interesting. After watching for a minute or two, he realized it was CUCKOO'S NEST, and switched the channel. His loss.

Oh good! Give me a moment to figure out something.
The only reason I got that Ken Kessy one was because I was reading The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test last week and read his bio at IMDB.com as a result. Talk about pre-emptive timing!

I heard about Kesey being pissed at the adaptation of his novel but don't think I would think of it now as the correct answer to Heineken's question. Good job, Pulp!

Okay, this one may be realitivley easy, but I can't think of a good one at the moment, and I know you're DYING to answer some trivia. Just kidding.
Okay, Christopher Nolan wanted to use "this song" at the end of Memento, but decided against it because he thought it was too big for the production. What song and what band is it?

Sorry, but no.
I'll give you a hint then....
This band hails from Britain.
