Besides, with some of the movies and some of the music, some of these guys are into, do we really want them experimenting with drugs too? You have a valid point. ;D And just for the record....that was back in my younger wilder days, I haven't done that stuff in years. No, seriously, I haven't.

I've never done anything like that, and I listen to everything from Kamelot to Cannibal Corpse, and everything from Hammer films to Italian Zombie films, so don't tell me it's the music or the movies. It's just the individual that chooses to do so. I'm also proud to say I never stay friends with drug users, I don't like people like that. Drunk is okay because you're happy when you're drunk, but stoned, no, I can't accept that. First of all, lighten up, it was a joke. I don't condone drug or alcohol (ab)use for anyone. I did my share and I've moved on. I wouldn't pressure anyone into trying anything and I don't want anyone preaching to me about it's "evils". Second of all, if you think that drinking is okay or somehow better because it's legal, or that everyone that drinks is a "happy drunk", you are sadly misinformed.

Exactly....take the word of someone who grew up with an alcoholic father. But anyway...let's all lighten up. I didn't mean to cause a ruckus for god's sakes. ;D

Look at this: Message board thread about what movies you've recently seen turns in to drug/alcohol debate after reckless Michael Madsen obsessee (first part is to enhance reading experience, ) encourages 12 year old to view "Pink Floyd The Wall" while stoned. That's funny. Anyway... Pieces- A gore masterpiece!

Must be Michael's bad influence on me...

From experience.. ;D ..I can tell you watching Pink Floyd: The Wall stoned doesn't enhance or make the film any better than it already is. Oh, & if you want to feel stoned without any use of drugs, alcohol, what have you, just watch a whole lot of Ren & Stimpy. Subject to that kind of material puts your brain cells in a "coma" state. Anywhoo, I agree with Heineken about liquor sinse it is a depressant & also don't condone the use of drugs of any kind. Watched some real awesome flicks today! Punch-Drunk Love (2002) 1/4 starsPaycheck (2003) 2/4 stars

Derailed (2005)
Starts off slow, but gets very intense. Lacking in originality, but Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston make up for it with their breathtaking performances. And I'd be lying if I told you the ending didn't take me by surprise. Overall, this wasn't the classic I was hoping it would be, but it was a very good movie all the same.

Punch-Drunk Love (2002) 1/4 starsPaycheck (2003) 2/4 stars I didn't like these too much, either - 3,5/10 for Punch Drunk and 4,5/10 for Paycheck. Saw yesterday... Cinderella Man. 5/10 - good fight scenes but, come on, what's new?!

MIGHTY JOE YOUNG (1949) Nice follow-up, not a sequel, to KING KONG with many of the creative team that brought that classic to the screen returning for this one. One of stop-motion animation pioneer Ray Harryhausen's first features. More family friendly than KONG, without falling into the cartoon-like shtick of SON OF KONG. 6.5/10

I didn't like these too much, either - 3,5/10 for Punch Drunk and 4,5/10 for Paycheck. Punch-Drunk, didn't age well & its only been 3 or 4 years. Not enough "story" to it I guess. Running time 95 minutes. Paycheck had just enough action in it to warrant 2 stars imo. IF it were not for any chase scenes, def would of gave it 1 star. Saw yesterday... Cinderella Man. 5/10 - good fight scenes but, come on, what's new?! I was tempted to get the Limited Collector's Edition until I saw the price. $45.99 Fuck that ;D

Amityville Horror(remake) 2/4
Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, in fact I thought it was pretty good. Most of the people who didn't like were the ones who compared it to the original, which I didn't really do. Ryan Reynolds did an excellent job as George & the rest of the cast was pretty good too. All in all a pretty creepy movie.
