It's on that collecton yes. Some players have had problems because of the DVD's (2 films on each side) but after watching 2 of the films I have had no problems. The actual tansfers are very good, especially considering the age of these and how rare some of them are. "Phantom" was pretty hard to find before this. Well, then I may have to seek this set out. Thanks 42nd.

Thanks 42nd. It's really cheap as well. And an absolute steal for 8 films! It's those DVD-18's that just seem to cause trouble on a (very) few players. Basically, like me, you just have to take the risk.

"The Spoilers" - Fun romp that mixes comedy and drama well with John Wayne on top form.

Maniac Cop- A top-notch thriller.
Don't Look in the Basement- It's actually pretty good. Gotta love the acting.
The Last Shot- A laugh riot.
High Plains Drifter- A great, funny western.
The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou- A good funny movie, but not Anderson's best.
Body Parts- Boy, Eric Red is a freakin' genius. Great F/X too.

Memorial Valley Massacre- Another good movie from the Cult Horror Collection. The first half is an adventure/comedy. The second half is a slasher flick.

"High Plains" had some amusing, black comic moments...but i would hardly call it a 'funny western'. Anyway... Well i was going to watch, and put onto DVD, "Electra Glide in Blue". Only to find that a few minutes in when people started to talk...A little man in red shirt appeared at the bottom of the screen from the waist up, covering up part of the picture, and proceeded to do sign language!! Then one of those stupid 'press the red button' digital signs came up in the top right corner! How much more could they fuck this film up!?? Bastards!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban--best Harry Potter film yet. I think I'll write a real review, or post one I wrote awhile ago.

"High Plains" had some amusing, black comic moments...but i would hardly call it a 'funny western'. For some reason, I laughed quite a bit. It had nothing to do with the movie being bad. I sometimes just find humor out of things that other people usually wouldn't. Don't we all?

"Come and See" - Russian film about a young boy's horrifying journey through a war torn Russia during WWII. A mud caked, scream filled, madness drenched vision of death and the bleakest reality... and yet almost surrealistic at times.

Hmm, took the weekend off from my series, ready to dive right in tonight. Any recommendations? I'm thinking either 28 Days Later, Bram Stoker's Dracula, or Christine? Those are the major ones I have left on my list.
