Alien vs Predator ;D Awesome film, I dunno what the fuss is/was with this picture. Rating - give me a break. Story - give me a break. It was a good action/thriller with killer effects.

"Ninja Dragon" - Cheap as cheap thing DVD of yet another cut 'n' paste slice of craziness from Godfrey Ho and his much exploitated actor of cheap choic Richard Harrison.
"Kansas City Confidential" - 1950's noirish thriller starring the great Neville Brand, Jack Elam and a very young (and hairy) Lee Van Cleef, on yet another cheap as a cheap thing DVD.
"God Told Me Too" - Cheapy release of Larry Cohen's unusual horror/sci-fi thriller.

Just popped through the letter box...
An upgrade of "Sudden Impact". Shame it could not have ended here instead of the piss awful "Dead Pool".
"Manos Hands of Fate:MST3K - Annoyed! According to DeepDiscount this has the film on it's own as well as the MST3K version...but all there is is the MST3K version!

"God Told Me Too" - Cheapy release of Larry Cohen's unusual horror/sci-fi thriller. Haven't seen it, the movie's just not round here - another one of those, you know; just like Cohen's Q - The Winged Serpent: I want to see it since I don't know when but it can't get to Poland for the hell of it! By the way - why don't you like Dead Pool so much, 42nd? I'm not an expert on the Dirty Harry films but from what I remember it wasn't all bad... Oh and: Some Kind Of Monster. I think I'll get this one, too!

Because "dead Pool" was bland and stupid and Harry had become way too much of a joke in general by the time this was made. Eastwood was too old and the whole thing was dull and lifeless. And all that before we even get to the moronic remote controlled car chase scene. AWFUL. It was also hypocritical and full of bullshit. Casting a bad light on horror films as warped and nasty while the "Dirty Harry" films have always wallowed in fun violence anyway.

Don't want to sound awkward but... your comment makes me wanna see Dead Pool again; I really only remember bits and pieces from it.

The thing I most remember about THE DEAD POOL, is a pre-stardom Jim Carrey playing a heavy metal rock star who dies early in the movie. In his big scene he is shooting a music video lipsynching to Guns N' Roses' "Welcome To The Jungle". The actual members of Guns N' Roses play his bandmates at his funeral. This was also the flick that gave us the catch phrase, "Go ahead, make my day."

I wasn't gonna say anything but, yeah when I saw The Dead Pool posted, I immediately thought of Jim Carrey. Sudden Impact, title sounds like a Jean-Claude Van Damme flick. ;D
