Was surprised to see these MGM Special Editions in the bargin bin, well sorta bargin bin. ($9.99 each) Didn't hesitate to pick these ones up  Fargo: Special Edition
Platoon: Special Edition

Picked these up today; Resident Evil: Apocalypse
Troy
The VillageMy Un-watched list is growing so I better get a move on these titles. Watched Fargo last night, Very impressed with the audio & video transfer as well as the extra's & of course the film itself. Hope the other 2 MGM dvds are presented that well. |

I knew I shouldn't have. The books I bought for school today ran me an estimated $250. But I saw these films in a two-pack for $14.95 at Best Buy. I'd be willing to pay more for just one of them. I couldn't refuse the bargain, so I went ahead and spoiled myself a little bit.
Almost Famous
American Beauty
It was a half blind-buy; I haven't seen Almost Famous yet. But I guess now, I suppose I have to. I've had a lot of luck with my blind buys, and I've heard many good things about this movie, and at least I got American Beauty (which is one of my favorite films of all time), so I guess I'm good no matter what.

You won't be disappointed Smitty, Almost Famous is an excellent flick. I bought the Bootleg Edition awhile back & at the time, I only saw bits & pieces of the film on satellite. After seeing the film in its entirely, I couldn't believe I almost didn't give it a chance.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Surely a blind buy, RIP?  Actually this movie was better than the first one with J-Lo. I enjoyed Anacondas and it had a better cast imho. |

I liked the first Anaconda film, bought the bare-bones edition & I heard that both movies can be had for the price of one.. (2-pack  ) |

Resident Evil 2, Troy, and the Village, eh? All good buys IMHO... of course, RE2 is a total B-movie, but we all love B-movies, don't we?

Twisted
The Ladykillers
Very rare, that I buy used & when & if I do, I watch them immediately. I also will only buy used if the dvd is in its original keep case, artwork etc.. Picky, yes I am. ;D
btw, Twisted is a pretty decent flick imo & there were moments in The Ladykillers that had me LMAO. ;D
