That phrase was from SUDDEN IMPACT? Oh well, those later movies tend to blend into each other in my memory. They sure do in my memory as well...

Picked up cheaply today on 3 for £20 deal
My Little Eye [haven't actually seen it but the DVD is supposed to be great with interactive stuff]
7th Voyage Of Sinbad [childhood fav, one of Harryhausen's best IMO]
The Fog [Carpenter's always good fun I think, his commentaries ace too]
Awaiting three more US imports, all very cheap-
The Martian Chronicles mini series [scared me as a kid, probably crap now though]
Arlington Road [great paranoid thriller with nasty ending]
Mission to Mars [am I the only person who thought this was pretty good, or atleast until the ending?]

Mission to Mars [am I the only person who thought this was pretty good, or atleast until the ending?] Nope. There are two of us. But anyone who knows how much I adore De Palma would not be surprised by that... Anyway - the ending is shockingly bad but until this moment the movie really is very good. Yeah, hear me say it once again and in bold : very good!

"The Thing" - upgrade from the old non-anamorphic print. MUCH better looking and that orange tinge to the blood that was a pain on the old print has gone as well. Good stuff!

A couple of pre-cert VHS bargains.

"Spare Parts" - Obscure German flick about organ harvesting in New Mexico! yes, you did read that right.
