That's cool. I like early Maiden (first five albums are gold to me) so The Chainsaw is another band I should check out nd put in my ever-growing CD collection.
Right now, a "Greatest Hits" of groups whose band name comes from Cannibal Corpse song titles!:
Destroy Your Planet Vomit the Soul Human Insanity
Plus I've also got some great Mangled on here: Blood Fed Orgasm Mangled Most Painful Ways
Vile: Interrogation Rites Vile Depopulate
And you can't forget Gutted: Nailed to the Cross Gutted Gutted
There's a whole CD worth of stuff, but this is mainly the next ones up on the disk.

How is that one? Is it anything like their later albums? I can't find anything past '99 from them in any store.
Nailed to the Cross Gutted Gutted finally came up.

Hate this song. Sorry, Pulp.
Right now it's Franz Ferdinand's "You Could Have It So Much Better" and it's good.

Haha! Oh that Lion King.
Yeah, Franz's new stuff is pretty good. I've been listening to it a lot. Ugh, this'll be stupid but, with their new album you "couldn't have it so much better." Hahaha. Sheesh.
Anyways, I just listened to
The Passenger by Iggy Pop.

Victims of this Fallen World isn't bad, but I think .... dammit, the one with Manipulator of Souls is probably better. I found Victims used at Cheapo. We have a great Cheapo nearby: There used to be a music store here--Root Cellar Records--the upstairs was all vinyl, the basement all Metal but they ended up closing. Pretty much all their stock ended up at a single Cheapo--which has the best Metal selection of any store around here. I found Destroyer 666, Rotting Christ, Kataklysm, Kreator, Gorgoroth, Dying Fetus, Panzerchrist, Crematory, Suspiria, Gorerotted, Gorguts--just all kinds of underground Metal there--some used, some new! Right now: Fearless By: Hypocrisy From: Virus

Birth Of Tension: love it! Currently listening to the new Deep Purple album. Mmmmm, beautiful! Ha, finally some great thrash taste, Bart. Probably my favorite Overkill song, and one that really needs more love from the fans. A truly underrated classic. Right now, my Cannibal Corpse "Greatest Hits" compilation, featureing only the first four albums: Shredded Humans The Pick-Axe Murders Hammer Smashed Face Rancid Amputation Edible Autopsy Meat Hook Sodomy Staring Through the Eyes of the Dead The Cryptic Stench Vomit the Soul Split Wide Open Covered with Sores Mangled Butchered at Birth Living Dissection The Bleeding Necropedophile Stripped, Raped, and Strangled Scattered Remains, Splattered Brains Pulverized Beyond the Cemetery Devoured by Vermin [Demo] Mummified in Barbed Wire [Demo] Gallery of the Obscene [Demo] Right now on Rancid Amputation.

Decided to finish with George's "compilation":
Decency Defied Devoured by Vermin I Will Kill You Pounded into Dust Savage Butchery Sentenced to Burn Psychotic Precision Hacksaw Decapitation Perverse Suffering Hatchet to the Head Gallery of Suicide Dead Human Collection Nothing Left to Mutilate Mummified in Barbed Wire The Spine Splitter Monolith Pit of Zombies Sanded Faceless Raped by the Beast Systematic Elimination Worm Infested Unleashing the Bloodthirsty Disposal of the Body They Deserve to Die The Undead Will Feast
Just started Decency Defied, one of my favorite Cannibal Corpse songs of all time, be it George or Chris singing, and also one of my favorite Death Metal tracks of all time as well.

Going into the last song, they're remake of the classic "The Undead Will Feast," perhaps one of George's more furious performances, and how the hell did he get that growl without throwing out his voice? That fast, that unintelligble, simply incredible, and a reason why Cannibal Corpse is/will always be my favorite Death Metal band.

Oh yeah, well can Cannibal Corpse top the intense heaviness of what I'm listening to?
