So, uh, another "psychological horror" that doesn't work. Good actors (De Niro!), nice photography, creepish locations, not a bad idea (cloning and its side effects), several good jumps... and yet - no satisfaction. Strange, isn't it? What do you think? Who saw it?

It was decent viewing up until the third quarter of the movie when the screenwriter just gave up and started to bullshit us through the rest of the movie.
No good.

Well, it's not worth paying for, livingdeadgirl. Unless you watch anything with De Niro (or with Rebecca Romjin-Stamos... or, uh, with Greg Kinnear).

Well, I usually watch anything w/ DeNiro, but this one...I dunno. I'll just wait until it comes on satellite I guess.

It is NOT De Niro's worst movie, mind you. If you saw Flawless you know he can't dive any deeper into shite than that.

Hmmm, I've never seen Flawless...how did I miss that one? Sounds like I'm not missing much though?

Not much, no. Actually, Flawless is the only De Niro movie that I just couldn't watch in its entirety. Just... couldn't. Boring, boring, b0riNg stuff!

I'll just stick to the tried & true classics then...

A wise choice, obviously. And... I'm not sure if you realize that, livingdeadgirl... but in my opinion such De Niro movies as Showtime or 15 Minutes are pretty good. Have you seen these?

Back on to Godsend, I watched it a while ago.
Dear god, what a waste of good actors and a good premise.
I think this movie is a perfect example of how important it is to have a solid script before directing. Reportedly, the script wasn't even finished when they began shooting, and ended up filming nine different endings.
P. S. Was Flawless really that bad? The trailer looked kinda amusing, at least. And what about Twins?

Well, some people liked Flawless as far as I know, but for me it honestly was a piece of crap. And Twins? Why Twins?

Does anybody remember the horrid 1980 film called "The Godsend"? I didn't see the new one ('cause no one liked it) but it CAN'T be worse than the 1980 one,.
