I watched the Giants vs. Bears game. The Bears pretty much owned the second half of the game. On commercials I watched The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy, and the War at Home.

EBERT & ROEPER with special guest critic, Harold Ramis.
They've had some interesting and unnexpected guest critics in Roger Ebert's leave of absence. Besides Ramis and actual professional film critics, guest critics have included, Fred Willard, Jay Leno, Mario Van Peebles & Kevin Smith.

I wish the Ebert And Roeper show was broadcast around here, too. No chance for this to happen, I'm afraid.

Thursday:
JERICHO
DAYBREAK
Anyone else watch the pilot episode? I thought it was pretty damn good. Kind of a serious, darker version of the Bill Murray classic, GROUNDHOG DAY. Ironically, several of the key behind-the-scenes people who worked on this, also worked on X-FILES, which once had an entire episode with this same idea of a character reliving the same day over and over again.

Ironically, several of the key behind-the-scenes people who worked on this, also worked on X-FILES, which once had an entire episode with this same idea of a character reliving the same day over and over again. I remember that X-files episode really well, it was a cool one. In fact, when I heard the premise of DAYBREAK I thought of that episode. I did not watch Daybreak though. Had too much to catch up on my DVR.
