Watched the latest episode of HEROES last night. This show started out pretty good and is getting better with each episode. My favorite characters so far are the Japanese kid, Hiro (appropriately enough), who can stop time, and the indestructible cheerleader. Her coming back to life on the autopsy table, her torso split open right down the middle, was pretty cool. I like the fact that even though they're "superheroes" they aren't above doing some things that most real people would probably do if they had their abilities. For instance, the cheerleader getting revenge on the high school quarterback who attempted to rape her. Or Hiro, using his powers to win some money after his buddy lost most of it gambling in Vegas.

I watched Heroes as well. I do like Hiro but I think my favorite is the cheerleader. I don't usually like that sort of character, but she's very believable ( having to close her own chest cavity during her own autopsy! yikes!).
We watched the Bears v. Cardinals games last night too. GREAT ending, and I am not a fan of either team.

Let's see. Tuesday we watched Sunday's episode of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES. Some of the best dark humor on tv. I usually laugh out loud at least a couple of times per episode.
Last night, Wednesday, we watched our usual Wednesday line-up: JERICHO, LOST & THE NINE

My Name is Earl just finished and it was extremely funny. The Office (for once) actually was worse than My Name is Earl (Earl is entertaining but not many episodes make me laugh, where as The Office does all the time).
And now to watch the Mets.

The usual Thursday lineup. SURVIVOR and SMALLVILLE.
I think SURVIVIOR is on it's last legs though. The gimmick this year of splitting the tribes up by races, ie: White, Black, Hispanic & Asian, despite all the controversy reported in the media, turned out to be much ado about nothing, as they ended up merging everybody into two tribes after only two episodes. What was the big social experiment then? Overall, it's been a pretty routine or dull season.
SMALLVILLE on the other hand has been really interesting & fun this season as they've introduced the character of Oliver Queen aka The Green Arrow. He and Clark Kent found out each other's secret identities last night and Arrow pointed out to Clark the bigger picture and the greater good they could do by Clark leaving Smallville and them combining their abilities. Planting the seeds for what, years later, in DC comic book lore, would become The Justice League. Also neat is the fact that Arrow is the first DC superhero to guest star on SMALLVILLE in costume. As opposed to Flash, Aquaman & Cyborg who have all appeared in episodes, but had not yet adopted their Superhero alter-egos. Now they just need to introduce a certain Amazonian princess and a millionaire playboy as guest stars. ;D
