For you who havent seen it yet, WHAT ARE YOU WATING FOR?? ;D.
I bought it the second it came out on dvd and saw it twice in theaters. Its got everything gore/comedie/Horror/Kung Fu (* kinda *) ;D.And as a plus, the kid from boy meets worl is in it hahahaha, for you who don't know what bou meets world is, it was a t.v show back like 8 years ago, anyways back to the movie.
The dvd is packed with featured including the directors cartoons called the rotten fruits, which is funny as hell, that alone is worth the buy. Its great to see a new director that loves horror like I do, so im gonna support his movies and hopefully we will have a new one from him in the near future.
ohh and he's working with Richard Kelly (* director from Donnie Darko *) right now, so that is something to look forward to.

After the Schwarzenegger thing I'm a bit afraid of revealing my dark secrets but... you're right: I haven't seen this movie yet. It's still waiting for its premiere in Poland and I didn't like the idea of buying it blind from amazon.
I hope this is going to be as good as you said, Burgy! Should arrive here soon.

I liked everything about this movie. Really creepy flick with a little humor thrown in.
Thought the commentary was good too.

Hmmm... it does sound like a must-buy. But I know many people hate it with passion, don't they? Why?

I thought this movie was OK, but not as good as say, Wrong Turn or TCM remake, that's just my opinion though. It was one that seeing once was enough for me, or maybe catching it again when it comes on satellite.

I hated Cabin Fever. I bought the dvd without having ever seen it before and boy was I disappointed. It was just so lame and stupid. What was up with the stupid little blonde headed kid knowing martial arts? I thought he was a girl, lol. I just did not like this film at all, sorry.

I consider Cabin Fever a misunderstood masterpiece. It was so blindly regarded as a rip-off. It has a 5.2 rating on IMDb. A 5.2! It's really sad when critics like a movie more than we do. It's supposed to be the other way around!

Sorry I'm a little late coming to this party, but I just watched it. I think it would've worked better as a straightforward horror movie. It's an interesting premise and at least it's not another "killer in the woods" cliche. I could even overlook the usual cliche group of kids (the popular guy, the shy guy, the stoner, the bad girl and the good girl). The problem I had with with it were the attempts at humor that just seemed to come out of left field. For instance, what was with the mulleted kid yelling "pancakes" and then showing off his karate moves??? What was the deal with the partying deputy?? I wasn't even sure he was a real cop at first. This stuff just made think, "WTF??". Was it supposed to be clever or different, or were they homages to other movies? And how many more movies do we need with creepy backwoods folk?? Let me guess. Another homage to TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE & DELIVERANCE? It seemed like they started out with a good concept, but then ran out of ideas, so it was just, "Let's throw everything in there and maybe the audience won't notice." Did they ever explain where the virus came from? They should've just stuck to telling the horror story without all the silly stuff. Pluses: Good makeup f/x, good premise, good looking actresses, some genuine chills. Minuses: Lame attempts at humor that hinder more than help the movie. General weirdness. 5/10
