In a way, I agree with IAmSmitty when he said
Funny story... my friend and I both walked out disappointed. After a week of thinking about it, I started thinking about how good of a drama it was, and not how weak of a thriller it was. That's when I started to accept its quality.
After being disappointed with the way the movie ended, I decided that I had to look at the movie from a different perspective and enjoy it for what it was and not what it was advertised to be.
I still think Signs was his best movie, so far.

Had the chance to see this late last night & was very, very, very, impressed. I didn't have too much hope for M. Night to succeed the way he has with his later films, but this one, I have to admit, I liked even more than The Sixth Sense, yep you heard it here, & I bet I'm the only cat here that thinks this is M Night Shyamalan's best picture. My Shyamalan-o-meter; ;D The Village The Sixth Sense Signs UnbreakableWow Term...pretty high praise indeed. I loved The Village, but I still think Signs has got more of the jump-out-of-your-seat & suspense factors. Both good films though!
