War of the Worlds is the 29th. I think it's the 24th. IFC was running an ad for Romero and this film. I guess they have a documentary out and are going to have a Romero-zombie marathon with Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead and another one I forgot the title.

Aye folks, not long to go untill the day of the year . The release of my most wanted movie of the year to put it in better words... Land Of The Dead. The man who basically single handedly saved a dying genre and brought it back to life (pun intended), he is back!!!.

If you have not seen LAND OF THE DEAD do not read! SPOILERS BELOW!
While I originally voted for the 'slow, retarded kind' I liked the Land of the Dead's evolving zombies. It sort of makes sense that the neurons can regenerate and the zombies would 'learn' after being zombies for so long - especially if you were big/strong like 'Big Daddy' was.
It's neat to see the progression of the zombies in his movies.

If you're able to walk above anything resembling a slow, snail-like crawl, then you're not a true zombie. If you're shuffling and can barely walk, then you're aces in my book.
