I love Labyrinth. George Lucas AND Jim Henson... It was one of my favorites when I was a kid, and it's still one of my favorites today. You just gotta love that movie. A young Jennifer Connelly on an adventure to rescue her baby brother from an evil David Bowie, and an ultimately cool soundtrack. What do you guys think?

I... like it. I think. Haven't seen it for a long time. When I saw it for the first time I was very disappointed: such a serious film? Come on - not what I wanted from Henson! But with Jennifer Connelly and this good mysterious mood it couldn't go all wrong.
One to rewatch.

Meh.
My wife bought the DVD, so I've seen it recently.
I think Bowie was well cast as the Goblin King and the movie's sets and muppets are kind of creative. That's about it. The story doesn't do much for me.

I voted for the childhood favorite, except I wasn't exactly a child when it came out, but I watched it over and over and have the DVD and have watched it recently. Bowie was HOT as the goblin king! And hubby enjoyed watching a young Jennifer Connelly. See, there's something for everyone in this movie!

I love the movie. I bought the DVD last year. David Bowie singing that one song...man that was cool. "What babe...the babe with the power...the power of voodoo...you do..."

I had never voted for this one. I loved this movie as a kid......I haven't seen it in a LONG time though!

My wife bought it and we started watching it... for some reason we didn't finish. She loves it, but I think Dark Crystal is Jim Henson's shining achievement. I really had a problem with all the singing and David Bowie.... in those tight pants... Maybe if I had actually seen it when I was a kid my opinion would have been different...
Instead, I was annoyed by many of the characters, though, still, I couldn't take my eyes off Jennifer Connelly....ooooohhh she so preeeeeettyy....

I loved that movie as a kid...so it brings back good memories. The movie itself isn't that great, but I still like it. The characters are what made the movie, the story pretty much sucks.
