Optimus Prime isn't a cab-over semi, either. He has the elongated engine (don't know what it's called). Quorthon, all I can say, is get used to these sort of changes. I know it's not right, but we'll just have to be patient.
Or just get pissed off and then sit in a dark corner and cry ourselves to sleep.

Well, Optimus Prime has been one of the "long" semi's in toy form several times before, that I can tolerate--so long as he's still a semi. But Bumblebee a Camaro? Then the name "Bumblebee" just seems retarded.
I'll probably still see it. Aw hell, I know I will, but I'm certainly not going to get my hopes up. I had 'em up too high for too long for that dreadful Alien vs. Predator film, and that only worsened the outcome. This film, I can tolerate with a PG-13 rating--and that's what I'll be happy with here.
Hmmm.... I can't wait for the toys!!

The toys should be pretty cool. The way the Transformers look is less bulky and blocky like the cartoon. I've seen Bumblebee's robot form, at least partially. It really does look like a car transformed into a robot. Me, I would've loved to see that little bug transform into an Autobot, but it's cool that he's had an upgrade. I just hope they get some of the original voice talent back. I do know that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker auditioned for Prime and Megatron, respectively. This would be a great way to honor the fans.

Huge Announcment! Lorenzo di Boniventura, producer of Transformers, revealed yesterday at the San Diego Comic-Con that PETER CULLEN, the original voice of Optimus Prime, will reprise that role in the new movie! This is awesome!
