Are you sure you are getting less spyware or just Micro soft detects less? Spyware is such a pain in the ass as it has tendency to hide in various maliciously smart ways

I just tried Microsoft's Spyware detector (which I just downloaded recently) agains Ad-Aware's Spyware detector/deleter. I ran Microsoft's first--it found 1 thing. Ad-Aware found more than 8. I think Microsoft may not be up-to-date... Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Try this: Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4
and this will detect even more and the spyware detected by it won't be even slightly similar to Ad-aware crop ;D

Norton is good if you remember to use Live Update at least once a week manually.
I only use IE to view secure sites such as banking, online purchases etc..
I only use Firefox Mozilla to browse the internet, ergo IE = shit.
