Friends, Today is the day when issue #4 of Surreal came out - a big event for me, as it includes my very first in-print interview! It's even more cool for the fact that the person interviewed is none other than the horror master Graham Masterton! Oh, sure - I have some problem with his latest novels but there's no denying that his classic stuff - like The Manitou or The Pariah - is still thrilling after all these years. Please check out the contents of Surreal #4 HERE and if any of you decides to get it - please tell me what you think of the interview AND the magazine as a whole (I don't have any of the previous issues and it looks like a long wait for my copy of #4).

I got my copy of Surreal finally! It looks nice with the spider cover and all, and it includes some really good stuff (the article on real zombies is my favourite - I'm a fan of The Serpent And The Rainbow, you know); I've got problems with several short stories there and the first episode of the graphic novel "Trapped" but all in all I still think it's a pretty good deal for $5. Shame that my interview with Masterton was savagely chopped, though.

Just wait till you hit the big times, Bart. You can hit your editor then and he'll have to take it! You'll be like Sinatra!
