I left a few out, if you think there is one that I missed & should be acknowledged, here is a link to his films: www.imdb.com/name/nm0001716/Out of those 6 films, my fav of his, is still Enemy of the State. The acting is top-notch, lots of great performances & probably one of Will Smith's 'better' films of serious acting. The cinematography is excellent, like most current Scott films, he uses a lot of dark lighting effects which make his films more surreal. The score really ties into the suspense of this film. You really can't have a good suspense/thriller film without an equally impressive score, kudos to Christopher Boyes.

You didn't actually vote Termination. I love TRUE ROMANCE! Great cast, great script, courtesy of one Mr. Tarantino, and really entertaining story. I love how all those stars and future stars played small roles in the film, ie: Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt, Val Kilmer, Samuel Jackson, Christopher Walken, James Gandolfini, etc. I can watch this one over and over again. Since you asked, you should've included THE HUNGER. It's not one of my favorites, but it definitely has it's fans.

Had to go w/ True Romance. Top Gun would be my second choice just for the sheer guilty pleasure of it.

I liked True Romance and Top Gun, but Enemy Of The State impressed me even more; maybe because it was more of a surprise than these two? I just didn't expect such a good movie in the case of Enemy. And I also think Gene Hackman played one of his best roles in it.
The Hunger and Crimson Tide disappointed me. The Hunger didn't use its actresses to a good effect and Tide wasn't especially thrilling in my opinion. Though Hackman was good again.
