MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY (1935)
The first screen version of the infamous mutiny led by Fletcher Christian (Clark Gable) aboard the HMS Bounty. Charles Laughton plays the brutal Captain Bligh and does a great job. Hard to believe only a couple of years later he would do a complete 180 and play a completely sympathetic character like Quasimodo in "HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME".
7.5/10

Wind Chill-Fifty minutes of people sitting in a car arguing over whether they have gone done the right road or not, as they take a trip back home, doesn't give me anything but boredom. Lame ghost story worthwhile only for those who have nothing pressing and want an hour and a half with a nice-looking, slow-burn ghost film. I could care less. 2/10
KillerKiller-Only worthwhile part is the first five minutes, where the big-breasted blonde gets naked in a shower and proceeds to turn the tables on a masked stalker, otherwise, this limp, poorly-paced and hardly worthwhile film has nothing to offer. 1.5/10

Happy Feet (George Miller) -- from the director of "Mad Max" AND "Babe" comes this love story/odyssey/piece of environmentalism/musical about penguins. There's some spectacular choreography, gorgeous cinematography (look at those sweeping camera shots), intense sequences involving killer whales, ice sliding, and seals, while the mashing of the songs creates a catchy soundtrack. Yes, it gets kind of preachy in the end when all the singing and dancing all but drops out (but the kids are the ones who are going to change the world right?), and lots of the anti-religious, anti-government, and anti-power messages may go over the head of its intended audience, but it's still an enjoyable ride, I believe. B+.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Winds (Hayao Miyazaki) -- almost completley stunning (that damned synth soundtrack really is terrible, however). A-.
