--I got Transformers Risk (whoo, battle for Cybertron!!) --Starscream figure from the Transformers Movie (awkward robot form hides one of the most solid toys I've yet seen from the movie line) --Some cologne so that I can smell like David Beckham (tiny vial) --The Simpsons Movie DVD --A Clockwork Orange DVD (special edition) --300 DVD --V for Vendetta DVD with mini graphic novel (a regift from my Mom) --Some candy, including a pack of mini Milky Way bars (whoo!!)
And some gift cards for various places including Cub Foods, Sam's Club (which we used to get Halloween Unrated and Pulse Unrated which essentially came free with Halloween), Holiday Gas and my wife got one for Bath and Body Works. I let her use the Sam's Club one since I claimed the Mastercard gift card:
I spent the Mastercard at GameStop on the GameCube version of Resident Evil 2, bringing my collection of the main storyline almost to a close (only need Code Veronica X and RE5 when it comes out in 2009).
My wife is also getting me some Wii Points for my Wii, but hasn't done it yet. I wish she'd get to it so I can download Sin & Punishment and Alien Soldier! Treasure really is one of the best game developers in history.
For myself, I picked up two Transformers graphic novels from Half Price Books yesterday. Six bucks for something that originally cost seventeen? I'm so there.
We also got a massive crock pot from my Dad, and my kid made out with 8 toy airplanes and 8 Star Wars figures (four little kid figures, and four miniature "Unleashed" figures), Optimus Prime from TF the Movie, and four DVD's: Goonies, Shrek 3, Polar Express, and Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer from the 60's.
I handed out my Christmas lists deliberately late so no one (mostly my wife) would spend too much money on me. And I started buying her and my son stuff in November. Unfortunately, I did not get the Nintendo DS that I wanted. No Contra 4 for me. I think I'm about done heavily expanding our DVD collection. I've returned again to my original sin/love of video games and will be working on expanding that library some more. 2007 was a massive year for me buying games. I added up to, if not over, 30 to my overall collection.

That's some serious dough, Frankenjohn! I got my usual plethora of Star Wars/Darth Vader stuff: Vader Christmas tree ornament Vader Holiday Nutcracker Ceramic Vader head/candy holder The Star Wars Vault (Huge coffeetable book filled with inserts and replicas of vintage promo items also includes 2 cd's with audio promo stuff.) Star Wars Pop-Up book (Really neat) Also got: The DC Comics Encyclopedia The Marvel Comics Encyclopedia (Both are huge coffetable books.) Couple of shirts Coffee mug $270 cash The wife and I received a rug shampooer, practical and something we really needed. And my wife outdid herself again. A couple of years ago I got into cigar smoking and have been wanting to get a humidor to keep them in. Not only did my wife get me a humidor, but she got it from a company that does engraving. She had them customize it with artwork that features Vader, the Death Star and Tie-Fighters. It's a really unique one-of-a-kind gift. Needless to say I was bowled over. Also got some cigars. What good is an empty humidor? Merry Christmas everyone!

Anyway, for me: DVDs The Simpsons Movie Hairspray The Bourne Ultimatium Books Tree of Smoke by Denis Johnson Then a new pillow (seriously, it's the best pillow ever made), gift cards to Barnes and Noble, some new shoes, a cell phone upgrade, uh, coffee. Then my brothers and I recieved a PlayStation 3 with 10 Blu-Ray discs (of which I remember nine of the movies: Pirates 1 and 2, Ratatouille, Cars, Santa Clause 3, Casino Royale, Hairspray, Live Free or Die Hard, Spiderman 3, and ... ). That was neat.
